Banksia Updates

Project Summary

This Development in Gordon Park in situated upon a 1,141m² lot of land. Upon completion this Development will provide an additional ten 3-bedroom townhouses to the suburb. The photos below are photos of the actual completed townhouses with furniture digitally added – in effect, virtual staging.

April 23rd, 2020

The Defects phase has been completed and all defects have been rectified. As such, we have moved onto Sales, with a Sales campaign headed by Ray White Alderly launched on Monday the 20th of April. Our full focus is selling these properties as quickly as possible while still maintaining the required pricing to achieve targeted profitability for investors.

March 17th, 2020

Construction has been completed, and the next month is devoted to defect rectification, where the builder will fix up any defects that are spotted during our inspections of the site.

February 24th, 2020

We’re approximately one month away from the completion of construction at Banksia.

December 20th, 2019

Construction updates are as follows:

Building A

  • Sanitary fittings installation has been completed.
  • Roofing to the patios will be completed this week.
  • Laying of the carpet is in progress.
  • Air conditioning heads have been fitted.
  • Wardrobe installation will be completed this week.
  • Kitchen cabinets have been installed.
  • Vanities installation has been completed.
  • Aluminum windows and doors have been installed.
  • General cleaning will occur this week.

Building B

  • Repainting has been completed
  • Kitchens and vanities started last week.
  • Sanitary fittings materials are being installed.
  • Waterproofing of all wet areas is finished.
  • The ceramic tiler will start this week.
  • Aluminum windows and doors have been installed.

November 25th, 2019

Construction progress is as follows:

Building A

  • All floor and wall tiling completed.
  • All kitchen fixtures and stone have been installed.
  • Painter is working through the Units one-by-one at the moment.
  • Scaffolding to the first-floor level was dismantled on the 21st of November.
  • External cladding and painting to the first-floor level are now completed.

Building B

  • External cladding is now complete.
  • Rendering and external painting will be finished early next week.
  • Scaffolding to the first-floor level was dismantled on the 21st of November.
  • Plasterboard sheeting to all Units is continuing and will be finished early next week.

September 24th, 2019

Summary of construction work is as follows:

  1. Scaffolding has been completed to Building A and to the second level at Building B.
  2. Timber framing to Building A has been completed.
  3. Timber framing to Building B has reached the second level.
  4. Rough ins to Building A will be completed next week, then will be started on Building B.
  5. Window installation will be starting next week.

August 23rd, 2019

Completed and ongoing construction tasks include:

  • The driveway between buildings A and B has been poured and the scaffolding for both buildings has been completed.
  • The first-floor framing and decking are currently being laid on Building A.
  • The footing for the retaining wall along Burnaby Terrace was poured this week.The blockwork has begun and will be completed next week.
  • The formwork to complete the first floor suspended slab on Building B should be finished towards the end of next week and then the suspended slab can be poured.

July 19th, 2019

Construction continues:

  • Building A ground slab has been poured.
  • Work on the suspended slab for Block B is underway.
  • Block-laying for Building A ground floor walls will begin this week.
  • Services infrastructure will be installed beneath the driveway next week, with the driveway pour to occur the week after.

June 19th, 2019

  • All blockwork related to retaining walls has been completed. Waterproofing has also been completed. Backfilling of the retaining walls is in progress.
  • Plumbing work beneath the slabs has commenced.
  • Excavation work has begun.

May 21st, 2019

Asphalt works to the adjacent laneway have been completed. Excavation for the retaining walls’ footings has begun, along with laying of steel reinforcements for some of the retaining walls . The concrete casting for these footings is scheduled for Monday the 20th, block works related to will be started next week.

April 18th, 2019

The storm water system is complete and the sewerage system is about 40% complete. The builders are currently preparing the plumbing that will lay beneath the footings.

March 20th, 2019

The storm water system for this site has been connected to #05 Panorama Views and connected to the overall Everton Park system. Ground works will begin in the next few weeks.

February 20th, 2019

Construction commenced the week of the 18th of February. This site is being constructed in tandem with Panorama Views. The site is being prepared for the erection of retaining walls which will be completed so the concrete slab can be poured.
